Special K Smocks was founded in 2019. The name “Special K” is in reference to our first little miracle. She was born in October of 2017. Being that her name started with a “K” and she was so special to us and so many, we decided to call her “Special K” to keep her name a surprise until her birthday. From the day I had her, I found myself searching daily for smocked and unique clothing for every occasion. I always envisioned exactly what I wanted but finding it was sometimes hard. I decided that I would turn my dream of these little outfits I’d foreseen her wearing into a reality. Designing and sharing my ideas with everyone else who loves appliqué, embroidered, and smocked children’s clothing as much as I do. We have since added another “Special K” to our growing family.
